I saw my dad today and he is in there. My mom told me that he is still losing platelets so they want to only get it from one donor instead of multiple, to see if that makes a difference. They are also doing a line directly to his stomach to feed him and give him nourishment to see if that will strengthen his body to help his organs. It really is a small chance of working but they are doing everything they can to help Mr. V win this fight and recover. My dad is sleeping now and just resting. I feel he wants to come out and be strong physically again like he is spiritually. I can only think positively and be strong. As I said before I am not ready to let him go. I am ready for him to get better. All we can do is think positive and pray. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers, we love you all.
Update: My dad also got a DVT filter in his vein in his legs to prevent blood clotting since he has been immobile for a while. I hope everything they do is helping him.

This is food for my soul. Knowing that God is able to do more abundently then what we can even imagine. What can I say, other then Praise God!
I know that I speak for all of your co-workers, Diana, when I say that all 3 of you are in our thoughts daily and we pray that our Father's will be done. May God continue to give you all strength and to pour out Blessings to You All.

Just to let you know that we have kept all three of you in our thoughts and prayers. Your daily updates have kept us abreast of your ups and downs; your positive attitude and spirit are most admirable. Keep the faith, God will provide the strength to help you through this difficult time.

Mr. V is my hero. Our paths crossed in the late 70's. He bandaged my third degree burns after a trip to Concan with Upward Bound. I can still see his face as he carefully took off my bleeding gauze. I remember looking up to him then. I still do. He gave of himself like not too many of us can admit. He empowered us with his kind, humble spirit to be the best one could be. Thanks to that motivation I can never find the words to thank him enough for giving me the inspiration to graduate from Texas A & I University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in
1979. The Holy Spirit be with Mr. V. and his loving family. Miracles do happen. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Glad to hear that Uncle Roel is still here with us and fighting. Everyday is precious. We are still praying for each of you....most of all Uncle Roel....that God will heal his body. Love, Anna
Delena, I've been following the blog. Maizie gave me the site and you have been amazing! I pray everyday for God to give him strength and also to you and your Mom. Please tell him he's in my prayers and that we love him. I don't have your email id, but here's mine.

We continue to pray for all of you and continue to believe that God will help him pull through. It is God's will and if He is not ready for him, He will let us keep your Dad for a while longer. Keep your strength and spirits up like you have been because that also helps your Dad. May God continue to bless all of you.
Love, Victor and Linda

We continue to place our faith in the hands of the Lord as we ask for his power in healing. Please keep the faith as we all stand firm with our heavenly God. Thanks Delena for your updates.
Delena, may it comfort and encourage you to know that we, along with so many others that care and love your dad, continue to pray very hard for his recovery. Miracles do happen and we're praying for that miracle.
Love, Janie and Richard
Delena, Joe and Mary Suarez would like for you and your mom to know that you are in their thoughts and prayers. I’m sure that at some point you’ve heard your dad mention Joe Suarez. They graduated from high school together. Be assured that we are all praying for your dad’s recovery. Love and peace, Janie
