Mr. V's Journey To Recovery

Sorry for the late post folks but I worked and I am not going to lie I took a nap in the hospital, this can tire a lady out. My mom called me this morning to say my dad is non stop "talking" and my mom is officially an expert lip reader. He asked so many questions and they talked, she was there for a while. She said he has been off his blood pressure medicine for 24 hours straight. That is really good since he has not had that ever since he has been in the hospital so it means his body is maintaining the blood pressure on its own. That is there goal folks to get his damaged organs to repair themselves and work on their own without medicine. Way to go Mr. V!

My mom met me for lunch today at Los Cucos which was great, my mom felt good enough to leave the hospital for a little break since my dad is progressing so well. He is still very very sick but man his will is stronger then ever! Well I think my mom tired out my dad this morning that when we got to see him after lunch he was out like a light. We just stayed for a little bit and Nurse Denise said he looked so peaceful she didn't want to wake him for his bath. He hates those! My mom went later this afternoon again and she said he was still sleeping. That's good he needs his rest to get better. I didn't get to tell my dad tonight to be boring but I hope he is boring tonight, no excitement just rest through out the night. I have nothing else new to report but like they say sometimes no news is good news. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.
