I spent the whole afternoon with my dad. Well most of the time in the waiting area since he had to go to CAT SCAN and take a bath. Nurse Ashley told my mom and I that he has an infection somewhere because his white blood cell count was high. They think its pneumonia but not sure, so they took him to CAT SCAN to see where the infection is. His blood pressure is still up and down and up and down and they are working on why his body has not stabilized it. They are giving him antibiotics for the infection. Nurse Ashley said "After all he has been through he still smiles at us, he is a good life lesson. If I hear any of my friends complain about having a bad day, I am going to say you think you had a bad day, let me tell you about Mr. V. They better not complain anymore because I wouldn't." The Nurses love my dad because despite everything he has enough energy to smile to them and "laugh." He really is my hero, he has so much in him to fight and he is doing it. He is already ready to leave but we tell him no you have to heal first and then we will take you home. I told him all I want for Christmas is him to keep getting better and I said "Hey dad that's a cheap deal you don't have to buy me anything for once, its priceless." We did not watch Tiger Woods Scandal today, just his favorite shows, Law & Order, NCIS, Bones. He is definitely a fighter. Thanks again for your prayers and thoughts.

Smiles are a good sign!

God willing, your dad will recover and will be up and about again; it's just taking time.

Time never stops, it passes…
Taking away things and leaving behind memories…
But Time is also the best healer.

Our prayers and best wishes are with you. Love, Janie and Ricardo

Well every bit of news you send out Delena has brought so much more joy in our hearts. I know Mr.V is going to get better in time. This is making me deal with a lot more patience in my life. I am a very impatient person, but just know what Mr.V is going through and not just him but you and your mom as well. Its all about patience. I think i have it bad at times but my problems are not even worth of what Mr.V and you guys are going through. Please tell him again how much we love him and think about him and we are still praying more and more each day. Love you guys dearly...Lisa De La Paz...
